If you are over 50, you will recognize the prophetic words of The Who in their 1970s anti-war anthem We don’t get fooled again.

Well, the Vietnam War is long over, but the words ring true for ICBC’s campaign for the hearts and minds of the car driving public. They are in overdrive, sending pamphlets with car renewal notices and plastering bus shelters and buses with their propaganda.  They are trying to convince people that ICBC adjustors can be trusted to give the public  fair settlements of injury claims.
Don’t you be fooled again.

These are the same folks who:

( a ) were caught red handed with their hands in the cookie jar when managers were bringing in their personal vehicles to ICBC approved body shops for free paint shops

( b ) were caught writing off vehicles, then allowing ICBC personnel to purchase, repair and sell them for profits

( c ) will use every trick in the book to defeat the legitimate claims of injured people, including following them around with cameras, talking to their neighbours to dig up dirt on them, taking to ex-spouses for the same purpose, trying to intimidate their doctors and therapists, infiltrating their Facebook profiles, hiring biased doctors to examine them and a whole host of other nasty endeavours
